Everyone has a story. Everyone has a different Reason that they get uP everyday.

The people in your community make up so many differenent aspects of what you live in. They work at the places you like to get coffee - They’re a customer at the store you work at - They prepare the food at your favorite restaurant - They own your favorite boutique. They are me. They are you.

This is the first edition of “MKE LOOKS GOOD ON YOU.”

A blog series highlighting the people of Milwaukee.

celebrating the community and how we fill it.

This is Allie.

I met Allie a little over a month ago at a Green Bay Packers / Housewarming party that mutual friends were hosting.

The keg and college drinking games brought us together - as that combo often brings much camaraderie.

Upon meeting Allie - I totally adored her casual, classic with a dash of 1969 style in her high waisted denim, baseball Tee and sneakers.

Beyond her cool, easy style she just has this smile and laugh that really brings the “punch to a party.” AKA, a real authentic lady that’s good company.

At a cool 21 years of age she was savvy to all the drinking games and also knew how to be a damn good spotter for a keg stand (thanks, girl!) and although the Packers lost that game I was happy to have connected with her.

My photographer and I met up with Allie in her part of the city - Milwaukee’s East Side, specifically at a great local brewery named, Good City Brewing. Allie came prepared with two knit hats and two jackets - she said, “ya know, incase we wanted options for the shoot.” Perfection! After our beers we rosily cheeked our way to Black Cat Alley for some photos amongst bad ass vivacious mural art. Definitely a snap-a-selfie, must-see in Milwaukee. We rounded out our time on Allie’s rooftop where you almost have a 360º view of Milwaukee — from Miller Park to the Lighthouse. #swoon
